About Us

Waratah Woodworks is based in the Southern Highlands of NSW and is owned and operated by local craftsman and fully qualified cabinet/furniture maker, Jacob Clarke.

Jacob has always had a passion and skill for creation stemming from his father and grandfather. Growing up in the misty Southern Highlands, Jacob took to working with the beautiful, local wood to design unique, quality furniture.

Named for the abundance of native flowers in the area, and the strong Australian symbolism. Waratah Woodworks aims to provide the perfect furniture for you and your home.

A big part of our focus here at Waratah Woodworks is sustainability for both the environment and the community. We recycle old wood otherwise being used for firewood into beautiful, rustic timber and work with local arborists to ensure we use only the trees which can be farmed sustainably for our new timbers. This also means that we use the highest quality materials and timbers made in Australia to ensure our products last a lifetime and look amazing.

We aim to tailor each piece we make to our client so you can always be sure you are getting a truly unique piece that will suit your home for years to come.
